St. Kitts & Nevis offers citizenship at significantly reduced cost
13 July 2020

As one of the early pioneers of Citizenship by Investment programs, St. Kitts & Nevis has long been a popular choice for those seeking a second citizenship that can open up a world of opportunities. Now, the government of this tropical island in the Caribbean Sea has made the prospect of citizenship even more appealing, with a significant reduction in the cost. A family of four can now apply for $150,000, in addition to application fees and government due diligence fees, representing a decrease of $45,000 on the usual entry level cost. This means that the St Kitts’ program is now one of the most cost-effective options for families - which can include children up to 30 years old or parents above the age of 55 - in the Caribbean.

With a St. Kitts & Nevis passport in hand, travel visa-free to more than 120 countries including the EU, UK, Hong Kong and Singapore. The application process is efficient, offering direct citizenship in 6 to 9 months, without the need to travel, reside or partake in an interview. St. Kitts’ citizens enjoy no tax on their worldwide income and can pass the citizenship on to future generations.

The reduced cost is available until December 31, 2020 and is anticipated to spur great interest.
